Bills' McCoy invites police to game vs. 49ers, ends feud with Chip Kelly
Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy said he holds no ill will towards San Francisco 49ers head coach Chip Kelly ahead of their upcoming matchup.
McCoy bristled under Kelly's tutelage while both were members of the Philadelphia Eagles, suggesting that his former head coach "got rid of all the good players, especially all the black players."
Both parties are now on different teams, and time has apparently healed all wounds.
"I don't have no problem with him," McCoy told reporters Wednesday.
McCoy also said he's inviting members of the Buffalo Police Department to Sunday's game, while imploring Bills fans to be respectful towards 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Kaepernick is leading a protest against police brutality and racial inequality that has gained national attention over the past two months.
"I'm inviting 15 or 20 Buffalo police to Sunday's game through my foundation to show appreciation, as well as inner city kids."
