Bengals' Eifert ruled out vs. Patriots

Cincinnati Bengals tight Tyler Eifert won't make his season debut in Sunday's game against the New England Patriots, after all.

Eifert reportedly had a chance to see his first game action this week, but after missing all three practices, he was ruled out by the Bengals on Friday.

He was seen on the rehab field Friday, so a return next week is still possible.

Eifert had offseason ankle surgery, and his return was further delayed by a back injury suffered last week.
