Willson needs an MRI and additional testing on the knee injury he suffered during Sunday's loss to the Falcons, Liz Mathews of 710 ESPN Seattle reports.
Analysis:
Willson had to exit Sunday's game and was unable to return, finishing with one catch for nine yards on his lone target. While he only has six catches and 12 targets through five weeks, Willson is an important part of a Seattle offense as a blocker, typically playing more than half of the snaps. If the injury is serious, the Seahawks will turn to veteran journeyman Brandon Williams and/or third-round rookie Nick Vannett in the No. 2 TE role. Neither would threaten the workload of Jimmy Graham, who caught exactly six passes on either eight or nine targets in each of the past three games.
