Ray Lewis: Burfict could be kicked out of NFL if dirty play continues
Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict could be playing his way out of the league, if you ask Ray Lewis.
Lewis appeared on FOX Sports' "Undisputed" on Thursday, and deemed Burfict's repeated on-field violations as grounds for dismissal from the NFL, if they continue.
"I don't know what Burfict thinks the next move for him is," Lewis said. "Because the next move is probably out of this league, and he'll probably never be mentioned again."
Burfict was fined $75,000 after stomping on Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount in last week's loss. The veteran has been fined $805,000 over the course of his 53-game career.
Burfict was suspended for the first three games of this season after a playoff meltdown that included a hit to the head of Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown.
