Brennan Williams' dreams of becoming a professional wrestler are now a reality.
The former Houston Texans offensive tackle, who performs under the ring name Marcellus Black, made his official NXT in-ring debut Thursday night, losing to cruiserweight competitor Lince Dorado in singles action.
Williams was a third-round pick of the Texans in the 2013 NFL Draft, but missed his entire rookie season following microfracture surgery and was released before ever appearing in a game for the team. He's been training with WWE legend Booker T since his NFL career ended in October 2015.
