Dez Bryant: Only Michael Jordan has better shoe game than me

Kevin Jairaj / USA TODAY Sports

Dallas Cowboys rookies Ezekiel Elliott and Dak Prescott have been roasting each other's footwear on social media recently, with each claiming to have the stronger shoe game.

Teammate Dez Bryant has something to say about that, though.

"Nobody has better shoe game than me, beside (Michael) Jordan himself,” Bryant, who represents Jordan Brand, told Clarence E. Hill of the Fort Worth Star Telegram. "(My teammates) are too busy worrying about the next new thing I'm going to have on my feet. I give them something fresh. I'm not wearing a shoe after it releases.

"When it releases I'm done with it. I get my shoes six months to a year early. I'm already in January 2017 right now."

His shoe collection is so big he doesn't even know how many pairs he has.

"I have over 2,000," Bryant said. "No, I will say between 3,000 and 3,500. I'm thinking about my closest. And I have this locker room in my hallway filled up. I have two rooms filled up with shoes. My garage is filled up with shoes. My other garage is filled. It's between 3,000 and 3,500. I'm going to have to tweet y'all a picture."

I can only wear my left shoe... Life of the jumpman... #23
