In the best game the NFL has had to offer so far this season, Dallas Cowboys rookie running back Ezekiel Elliott burst through the Pittsburgh Steelers defense for a 32-yard touchdown with nine seconds remaining to win the game 35-30.
The score was Elliott's third total touchdown of the game as he piled up a season-high 209 all-purpose yards.
Both offenses flourished in this highly anticipated contest, especially down the stretch with two fourth-quarter touchdowns apiece. The Steelers had appeared to win in dramatic fashion themselves when Ben Roethlisberger faked a spike and hit Antonio Brown for a 14-yard touchdown with 42 seconds remaining.
With the win, the Cowboys improve to 8-1 on the season under Dak Prescott, making their quarterback situation even more difficult. The Steelers fall below .500 with the loss, but the return of a seemingly healthy Roethlisberger is promising for their playoff hopes.
