Packers' Ty Montgomery: Under the weather Wednesday

Montgomery didn't take part in Wednesday's practice due to an illness, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

Prior to receiving a diagnosis of a sickle-cell trait, Montgomery was listed on injury reports with an "illness" designation, but Demovsky relayed that the RB/WR is dealing with a veritable illness this time around. With the addition of Christine Michael to the Packers via waivers, the backfield now boasts two tried-and-true running backs (also, James Starks). If a more traditional ground game is sought moving forward, Montgomery will likely move back to his typical spot at wide receiver -- if healthy -- with carries sprinkled in for good measure.
