Saints unveil 50th anniversary throwback jerseys

As they continue to honor and celebrate their 50th anniversary season, the New Orleans Saints unveiled throwback uniforms they will don in Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions.

The black-and-gold throwbacks complement the white-and-gold "Color Rush" set the team wore in Week 11.

The Saints' current uniforms, despite an iconic logo and color scheme, are comparatively dull and outdated. One can only hope the team moves to make these jerseys - and the road "Color Rush" uniform - its permanent outfit.
