Rams to wear white-horned throwback helmets Thursday night
The Los Angeles Rams are looking to the future when it comes to their suddenly vacant head coaching position, but they will take a brief trip to their past Thursday night.
The Rams will wear throwback-inspired helmets featuring white horns (instead of the usual gold) for their "Color Rush" game against the Seattle Seahawks.

The Rams' wore all-yellow attire for last season's "Color Rush" game, but cannot wear those uniforms this year, as they would clash with the Seahawks' fluorescent green attire.
So, instead the Rams will wear their white jerseys and pants and pair them with navy helmets with white horns, much like they wore from 1965-72.
