Carr carted to locker room vs. Colts with apparent lower leg injury
Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr was carted to the locker room during Saturday's game against the Indianapolis Colts with an apparent lower leg injury.
Carr looked to be in significant pain and grabbed his leg while gesturing for trainers to come onto the field after being sacked by linebacker Trent Cole.
Matt McGloin replaced Carr on the field.
The third-year pivot needed to be carried to the sideline, as he was unable to put any pressure on his right leg. He was examined by trainers on the sideline for several minutes before he was carted away.

An MVP candidate this season, Carr has been the driving force of the Raiders' return to relevance. They secured a playoff spot last week, their first appearance in the postseason since 2002.
If Carr's injury is serious, Oakland's Super Bowl hopes will be dealt a big blow. The rest of the roster is talented, but the offense is heavily reliant on Carr and the explosive passing game.
