New York Jets head coach Todd Bowles revealed Saturday that he was hospitalized Friday evening due to multiple ailments. He was healthy enough to join his team on the sidelines for their game against the New England Patriots, but will see a doctor Monday for further examination, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.

"Chest was hurting, kidney stones, gallbladder, gallstones got stuck in the pipe," Bowles said postgame of the maladies that prompted the trip to the hospital. "A lot of pain, and kind of went from there. Guess I'll get something done after the season."

Bowles had to pass a multitude of tests in order to coach his team on Saturday. He told reporters that the kidney stones and gallbladder issues he was dealing with didn't pass.

The Jets will play their final game of the season Sunday at home against the Buffalo Bills.
