Report: Broncos' Kubiak told team he's retiring
Denver Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak informed his team that he's retiring, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Kubiak led the team to victory in Super Bowl 50 last year, but the Broncos missed the playoffs this season with a 9-7 record.
It was reported earlier Sunday that Kubiak was likely to step down over concerns from his family about his health. Kubiak left the team in October due to a complex migraine condition. In 2013, he suffered a mini-stroke while serving as head coach of the Houston Texans.
"I talked to the team. I will address my situation tomorrow. I told the players how proud I was of them," Kubiak said, according to FOX31 Denver KDVR.

Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan and Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Vance Joseph have been rumored as strong candidates to take over for Kubiak.
