The Kansas City Chiefs enjoyed their fourth straight winning campaign under Andy Reid this season, and the team is reportedly set on rewarding the head coach for his efforts.
The Chiefs will attempt to sign Reid to a contract extension during the upcoming offseason, league sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The 58-year-old will enter the final year of his current five-year contract next season.
The Chiefs have become one of the league's most consistent teams since Reid took charge in 2013, winning 43 regular-season games and making the playoffs three times.
Reid guided Kansas City to a first-round bye and an AFC West title this campaign, the team's most successful season since 2003.
