Rookie Seattle Seahawks right guard Germain Ifedi sustained an ankle injury on the first drive of Saturday's playoff game against the Atlanta Falcons, but returned to the game halfway through the second quarter.
Ifedi was injured on a running play and was checked out on the sidelines by the medical staff. Third-round pick Rees Odhiambo replaced him in the game and ended up stepping on quarterback Russell Wilson's foot on a play that resulted in a safety.
Ifedi returned for the next drive.
The 22-year-old was the team's first-round draft choice. He has started in the Seahawks' past 13 games.
