Terrell Owens calls HOF a 'total joke' after not being selected again
For the second year in a row, the NFL's second all-time leading receiver didn't make the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
As the football world waited to hear the announcement of the 2017 Hall of Fame class, along with the recipients of this year's awards, Terrell Owens broke the news that he missed the vote to be inducted into Canton this summer:
Unfortunately I DID NOT MAKE IT again this year. Thanks to ALL my fans & supporters. #FlawedProcess

Owens didn't hesitate to voice his displeasure with the decision.
HOF is a total joke. Honestly, doesn't mean anything to me to get in beyond this point. https://t.co/wJJ8vVSp9d

However, Owens did congratulate the players who received the honor.
Congratulations to the Class of 2017! Well deserved.

Owens' omission is puzzling due to his Hall of Fame-worthy production, but the loud-mouthed receiver's contemptuous relationship with the media seems to have caused him to miss out on becoming immortalized for another year.
