- Cam Newton - Which version of Superman will we see in 2017? The one that led the league in fantasy points two years ago or the one that ended last season as the QB17? Newton was a top-five fantasy passer every season of his career before last year's aberration, so it's safe to expect him to get back to his elite production.
- Matt Ryan - This year's MVP had the second-most fantasy points among quarterbacks in 2016, but the hangover of a Super Bowl collapse mixed with a new offensive coordinator will lead to a slight decline in production. You can safely pencil Ryan in as a mid-range QB1.
- Kirk Cousins - Assuming Cousins stays in Washington, there's plenty of reason to doubt he'll finish inside the top 10 next season. Jordan Reed is a constant injury risk and perhaps one concussion away from the end of his career; DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon are facing free agency; we don't know what to expect from Josh Doctson after a lost rookie season; and Jamison Crowder can't carry the passing game alone.
- Tyrod Taylor - If the Bills bring Taylor back, he'll quickly move up at least a few spots on the list. If the Bills let him go, we'll need to wait and see where he lands before passing judgement.
- Blake Bortles - Don't be lured by Bortles' QB9 finish this year. The former No. 3 overall pick is a weekly disaster on the field and his fantasy stats are tough to rely on. There's also no guarantee that he holds on to his job for the entire season.
- Tony Romo - Much like Taylor, we'll need to wait and see where Romo ends up before giving him a true ranking, but for now he's a player I'd be excited to grab late in MFL10s.
