New York Jets tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins will avoid jail time after reaching a plea deal following his September arrest on DUI chargers, TMZ Sports reports.
Seferian-Jenkins pleaded no contest to a reckless driving charge, receiving a sentence of one year probation and 50 hours of community service. He must also pay a fine and attend a DUI education class.
He was released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers following his arrest, and caught 10 passes for 110 yards after being claimed off waivers by the Jets.
