Infamous 40-yard dasher warns runners: Wear tights, not boxers
Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones experienced one of the most embarrassing moments in combine history last year when, while running the 40-yard dash, his shorts ripped open, exposing his private parts.
While speaking to TMZ Sports about the incident Friday, Jones offered some advice to prospects.
"I was actually wearing boxers instead of tights. So, I tell everyone please wear tights," Jones said. "You don't want to have that type of moment on your resume."
Interestingly, though, Jones said that if he could do it all over again, he'd still choose boxers.
"I'd put the boxers back on. I'm going back with the boxers. If I could do it all over again, I'd do it the same way," he said. "Make it fall out properly at the 5 instead of the 10 this time."
Here's Jones' infamous run:
