Report: Ross won't run 40-yard dash at pro day

When you're the fastest man in the history of the NFL combine, there's no need to prove yourself again.
John Ross won't try and improve on his record-breaking 40-yard dash time of 4.22 seconds at Washington's pro day on March 11, instead opting to just run wide receiver drills, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.
The 22-year-old is set to undergo shoulder surgery March 14.
Ross was viewed as a slam-dunk first-round pick before the combine, but after his history-making performance, he has a good shot at being the first receiver off the board come April.
