Here are the fantasy implications of TE Jack Doyle returning to the Indianapolis Colts on a three-year contract:

Doyle broke out in his fourth season in the NFL. An undrafted free-agent signee in 2013, Doyle played all 16 games in 2016, catching 59 of 75 targets for 584 yards and five touchdowns. Each figure was not only a career high, but each one more than doubled his career total in the category. He proved to be one of QB Andrew Luck's most reliable targets in a season where TE Dwayne Allen and WR Donte Moncrief missed varying amounts of time.

59-of-75 (78.6 pct), 584 yards, 5 TDs, 2 INTs, 110.2 passer rating.
So, very good.
Per Pro Football Focus, Doyle graded better than Allen in each of run blocking, pass blocking and receiving. He outsnapped Allen 750-611 over the course of the season, seeing 74 additional passing snaps. And with Allen now on his way to New England, the No. 1 job is Doyle's alone.
Doyle will head into the 2017 season as a top-10 tight end in all season-long formats. His 2016 breakout had been in the works since entering the league, and he should see a nice target increase moving forward.

Doyle currently makes for an excellent late-round target in My Fantasy League drafts, where he's being selected in the range of Rounds 12-15 and will likely start going earlier now that Allen is out of the picture.
