Packers' J.C. Tretter: Expected to pass medical evaluations
Tretter (knee), an unrestricted free agent, is expected to pass any medical evaluations in the free agency process, The Stevens Point Journal reports.
Analysis:
Tretter missed the final nine games of the Packers' season, including the playoffs, after sustaining "significant MCL damage" in Week 8. He consequently underwent arthroscopic knee surgery in late January, but fortunately, doctors didn't find any cartilage or structural damage in the afflicted area. Thus, he isn't expected to have any health-related concerns hinder his ability to land a contract when unrestricted free agency opens Thursday afternoon.
