The Cleveland Browns are expected to part ways with quarterback Robert Griffin III, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Cleveland acquired Brock Osweiler in a trade with the Houston Texans on Thursday, rendering Griffin expendable.
Griffin completed 59.2 percent of his passes for 886 yards, two touchdowns, and three interceptions in five games with the Browns last season. The 26-year-old suffered a shoulder injury during the team's season opener that shortened his campaign.
