The Minnesota Vikings have reached an agreement with restricted free-agent receiver Adam Thielen on a three-year contract extension, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The contract is worth up to $27 million over the next three years and includes $11 million guaranteed, a league source told ESPN's Ben Goessling.
Thielen had by far and away his best season in 2016, catching 69 passes for 967 yards and five touchdowns while earning 10 starts. He led the team in receiving yards and yards per catch.
The Vikings reportedly offered Thielen a second-round tender last week. He first signed with the team after going undrafted out of Minnesota State in 2014.
