Free-agent cornerback DeShawn Shead is set to visit with the Buffalo Bills, a league source told ESPN's Sheil Kapadia.
Shead tore the ACL and meniscus in his left knee during the playoffs, and the Seattle Seahawks opted against giving him a restricted free-agent tender, allowing him to hit the open market.
It's a curious move by the Bills, as Seahawks general manager John Schneider previously said Shead wouldn't be ready for the start of the 2017 season.
When healthy, Shead has proven to be a versatile defensive back who's capable of playing multiple spots in the secondary.
