The Indianapolis Colts have selected defensive end Tarell Basham out of Ohio in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
The 6-foot-4, 269-pounder fills an immediate need for the Colts, as they struggled to rush the passer last season, finishing 19th in the league with just 33 sacks.
Basham was the MAC's defensive player of the year in 2016 after a season with 16 tackles for loss and 11.5 sacks.
