Many NFL players spend the early portion of the offseason taking trips of a lifetime. Ben Roethlisberger and NFL Hall of Famer Jim Kelly are making a once-in-a-lifetime moment for a 12-year-old boy.
Kelly shared on his Facebook page Wednesday that he and the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback would be taking a young boy battling stage-four cancer to New Zealand on a hunting trip.
By Friday, Kelly and Roethlisberger were already making memories.
Kelly battled head and neck cancer for several years and was declared free of the disease in 2014.
