Newton announces name of 2nd child in trademark style

Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton revealed the name of his first daughter, and second child, with longtime girlfriend Kia Proctor on Instagram over the weekend:

Newton is known for writing his Instagram captions with an eclectic (and nearly indecipherable) array of special characters, so his daughter's legal name is probably Sovereign-Dior Cambella Newton and not ŠØVËRË1GN-D1ØR•€ÅMßËŁŁÅ•NË₩TØN.

But this is Cam Newton we're talking about. It's not out of the question that's the actual spelling of her name.

Newton's first child, son Chosen, was born in late 2015.
