Bills select LB Matt Milano in 5th round

The Buffalo Bills have selected outside linebacker Matt Milano out of Boston College in the fifth round (163rd overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft.

Strengths

• Explodes into tackles with full acceleration.
• Displays decent ability to drop into coverage and can run with tight ends and running backs.
• Aggressive in pursuit of the ball carrier and will seek attack angles on every snap.
• Milano shows decent straight-line speed.

Weaknesses

• Undersized for an NFL linebacker and will need to bulk up.
• Milano gets absolutely destroyed by larger offensive tackles, driven well up the field without any ability to disengage.
• Will need to improve lateral quickness.
