Report: Romo would consider unretiring if Cowboys needed him

Tony Romo is reportedly done with football, though the door may not be entirely shut.
While the quarterback has reportedly decided to retire and is heading to the broadcasting booth, he would consider coming back if the Dallas Cowboys needed him, a source told Jane Slater of NFL Network.
This, presumably, means Romo would be open to a return if Dak Prescott suffered a season-ending injury while the Cowboys were in the playoff hunt.
It would be a logical arrangement for both parties. No quarterback could step into Dallas' offense as seamlessly as Romo, and it would give the veteran pivot one last shot at winning a championship.
How this kind of deal would fit into the broadcasting contract Romo will likely sign in the near future is unknown.
