Jaguars scoop up LB Blair Brown in 5th round

The Jacksonville Jaguars have selected linebacker Blair Brown out of Ohio in the fifth round (148th overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft.

• Does a great job of shedding blocks and wrapping up ball carriers with strong technique.

• Shows off decent closing speed when approaching ball carriers.

Weaknesses

• Lacks the ideal speed and athleticism for a professional linebacker.
• Needs to improve in coverage.
• Will need to adapt to a much better level of competition and won't be able to rely on his physical attributes at the pro level.
