The San Francisco 49ers released cornerback Tramaine Brock on Friday, after being arrested and charged with felony domestic violence.
Police responded to a domestic violence call Thursday evening and found a woman with visible injuries. The woman said she was in a relationship with Brock.
Brock reportedly wasn't at the site of the incident when police arrived but went to the police station and was subsequently booked into Santa Clara Country Jail for felony domestic violence.
The cornerback left jail on Friday and told reporters, "I ain't got nothing to say to you" when asked for comment.
Brock spent the first seven seasons of his career with the 49ers after being signed as an undrafted free agent out of Belhaven University.
