Tim Tebow would like to star in 'Braveheart' sequel
Tim Tebow's future aspirations are apparently not limited to professional baseball, but also gracing the silver screen if the right opportunity presents itself.
Tebow expressed his undying love for Mel Gibson's 1995 film, "Braveheart," in an interview with MMQB's Tim Rohan, via SI's Extra Mustard.
"I love 'Braveheart,' it’s the best movie. If they made a 'Braveheart 2' and asked me to be in it ... wait a minute, let me think about it for a second, I’d say yes,” Tebow said.

While it was described as being somewhat tongue-in-cheek, the Christ-figure themes of personal sacrifice in the film appeal to Tebow's much publicized spiritual faith. But, he also found it plenty entertaining.
"I just loved it, I totally ate it up ... I loved the movie and loved how much he was willing to sacrifice, what he believed in, why he believed in it, and then I also loved the action, Mel Gibson was pretty sweet too," he said.
