Falcons' Cornelius Edison: Signs with Atlanta

Edison signed a contract Wednesday with the Falcons, Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports.

Analysis:

Edison played in six games for the Bears during his rookie season. Entering his second year, the 23-year-old will look to make Atlanta his new home for the long term. He'll likely serve in a backup capacity if he's able to win a roster spot out of training camp.
