Colin Kaepernick continues to make good on his pledge to give $1 million to organizations supporting oppressed communities over the course of 10 months.

Kaepernick's foundation announced April's donations Friday, which took the free-agent quarterback's total to $700,000. He is donating $100,000 every month.

The 29-year-old has been transparent in where the money is going to, with details about how it is being used outlined on his foundation's website.

April's $100,000 was split between Assata's Daughters, H.O.M.E, Grassroots Leadership, and American Friends Service Committee.

Assata's Daughters is a Chicago group that "focuses on black female empowerment in the tradition of Asaata Shakur." H.O.M.E works with single mothers in the Atlanta area and provides them beds and furniture. And Grassroots Leadership and American Friends Service Committee work to fight against the privatization of prisons in Arizona and Texas, respectively.

Kaepernick thanked people for their letters of support in an Instagram post Friday:
