FOX will officially announce former NFL senior vice president of officiating Dean Blandino's new role with the network this week, according to John Ourand of Sports Business Journal.
Blandino is expected to be paired with Mike Pereira, who also served as the NFL's vice president of officiating prior to joining FOX in 2010.
Both Blandino and Pereira will work as officiating experts in some capacity for FOX.
It was reported by Pro Football Talk that one of Blandino or Pereira will attend a game, while the other remains in the studio.
Blandino resigned from the NFL in April.
