Andrew Luck to open camp on PUP list
The good news for Indianapolis Colts fans is that Andrew Luck has resumed throwing.
The not-so-good news is that Luck will begin training camp on the physically unable to perform list as he continues to recover from shoulder surgery, though the expectation remains that Luck will be ready for Week 1.
General manager Chis Ballard announced both details at a press conference Monday, according to multiple reports.
Luck underwent surgery on his throwing shoulder in January, reportedly related to his labrum, and has been on the (long) road to recovery ever since.
Luck hasn't suffered any setbacks, Ballard said, and the Colts are merely being extra cautious with their franchise player.
Ballard said Luck will continue to work out while on the PUP list and will continue to add the weight he lost since his surgery.
