Watch: Cam Newton crashes Christian McCaffrey's 1st press conference

Running back Christian McCaffrey made his minicamp debut on the final day of the Carolina Panthers spring practices (due to a somewhat bizarre NFL rule), but that didn't prevent him from enduring a little rookie ribbing.

Cam Newton interrupted McCaffrey's first press conference, joking that since McCaffrey made everyone wait for him to show up, Newton would make the rookie wait to speak to the media.

It was all in good fun, and Newton quickly turned the spotlight back on his new backfield partner.
