Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Adolphus Washington was arrested on a firearms charge Sunday, Bob Strickley of Cincinnati.com reports.
Washington was arrested for improperly carrying a concealed firearm in a waterpark. The Sharonville Police Department stated Washington displayed and reached for a gun without informing officers first.
Later in the evening, Washington was released by police without incident.
The Bills released a statement on Washington:
"We are aware of the incident regarding Adolphus Washington and have been in contact with him. Since it is a pending legal matter, we will have no further comment."
