New York Giants receiver Sterling Shepard ran without a noticeable limp at training camp Saturday.
It's a remarkable turnaround for Shepard, who was carted off the field and appeared to be in tears only two days ago, prompting fears that he suffered a devastating ankle injury.
Instead, Shepard reportedly suffered merely a low ankle sprain, an injury that frequently comes with a short recovery period.
The Giants will surely play it safe with their sophomore slot receiver, but it appears Shepard is in no danger of missing extended time.
