'Fake news!': Elway shuts down rumor Broncos could add QB
Denver Broncos general manager John Elway began his day Wednesday debunking rumors of his team's interest in acquiring additional quarterbacks.
Word had been circulating that Denver may be in the market for Cincinnati Bengals backup AJ McCarron, but Elway took that talk down with one swift tweet.
And he borrowed from President Donald Trump to do so.
Rumor of us being interested in anyone other than the QBs we have is another example of irresponsible, fake news!!

It's likely Elway was responding to a report from a Denver-area radio station on Tuesday morning.
BREAKING: Sandy Clough is reporting that the #Broncos are aggressively pursuing a trade for #Bengals backup QB AJ McCarron. #Decision17

Sandy Clough is doubling down on his report. Says the source is directly from Cincinatti. Clearly doesn't care what the Broncos are saying

It appears the Broncos will move forward with Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch as their top QBs.
