The Jacksonville Jaguars can reportedly breathe a sigh of relief.
Jaguars receiver Marqise Lee was carted off the practice field Sunday with an apparent leg injury, but a source told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network the injury isn't serious.
Lee went down in a non-contact 7-on-7 drill and Jacksonville head coach Doug Marrone offered no update on Lee's injury following practice, saying the wideout needs to meet with doctors first.
Lee missing a significant length of time would have been bad news for quarterback Blake Bortles in what is a likely make-or-break year. The signal-caller developed a strong rapport with the USC product in 2016, as Lee posted a career-high 63 receptions and three touchdowns.
