Report: MRI confirms Bears' Meredith tore ACL, sustained other damage to knee
An MRI confirmed Monday that Chicago Bears wide receiver Cameron Meredith sustained a torn ACL in Sunday's preseason game, as well as other damage to his left knee, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Such an injury means Meredith will miss the entire 2017 season.
Meredith took a hit to the knee after making a catch in the first quarter and needed to be carted off with an air cast on his leg.

The loss of Meredith is a monumental blow to a Bears passing attack that already lacks reliable options.
Former first-round pick Kevin White will likely be tasked with taking over duties as the No. 1 receiver, but despite his impressive skill set, he has yet to prove himself capable of being the focal point of the passing game.
Victor Cruz, Markus Wheaton, and Kendall Wright should all also see increased roles.
Meredith will be a restricted free agent after the season.
