New York Giants wide receiver Brandon Marshall insisted Monday that he'll be ready for the season opener Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys despite a shoulder injury which forced him to miss the last two preseason games.

"I'll be out there," said Marshall, according to Ralph Vacchiano of SNY, adding that "there's nothing that should hold me back."

Marshall refused to go into details about his injury, or even if it's 100 percent healed.

"I feel good," Marshall said. "Other than that hit I had in Cleveland the body feels amazing. This is probably the only camp that I've had where I really didn't have anything. So, that's kind of encouraging being 33 and trying to be aware of where I'm at. My body - I try to keep track and try to be mindful of that so I know how to treat it.

"But I feel amazing."

Marshall has yet to catch a pass from Eli Manning, and could be asked to carry more of the offensive workload if Odell Beckham Jr. is limited or sidelined by an ankle injury.

"Yeah, Brandon and I will be on the same page, but there's always a learning curve," Manning said. "We're on the same page. It doesn't mean we'll complete every pass that I throw to him, but we've gotten a lot of work and communicate all the time about the different things. So, I expect us to go out there and make the plays that we need to make."
