Bears lose another WR after White exits with shoulder injury
Watch: Falcons TE Austin Hooper unleashes enormous stiff-arm during 88-yard TD / USA Today Sports
The Chicago Bears' depleted receiver corps took another hit in Week 1, as Kevin White exited Sunday's game versus the Atlanta Falcons in the fourth quarter and was officially ruled out of the contest with a shoulder injury, the team announced.
White, drafted by the Bears seventh overall in 2015, has dealt with injuries the entirety of his pro career. He missed all of his rookie season and was limited to just four contests in 2016. Before exiting Sunday's game, he had two receptions for six yards.
At this point, the severity of White's injury is unknown, but with wideout Cameron Meredith already out for the season with a torn ACL, Chicago can ill-afford to lose another receiver long term.
