Brothers Martellus and Michael Bennett took different routes in pursuit of the same goal Sunday as they protested during the playing of "The Star-Spangled Banner."

Seattle Seahawks defensive end Michael continued his protest by sitting during the national anthem ahead of the Green Bay Packers' season opener.

On the opposite sideline, Martellus stood but raised his right fist in the air.

Martellus spoke out in defense of his brother's run-in with the Las Vegas Police Department earlier in the week.

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson came to Michael's defense, while Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has gone on record as believing free-agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick should be signed to an NFL roster.
