The Chicago Bears fear wide receiver Kevin White broke his collarbone and will require season-ending surgery, sources told ESPN's Dan Graziano.
He is expected to be placed on injured reserve.
White has struggled with numerous injuries since his pro career began, playing in just five total games after being selected seventh overall in the 2015 NFL Draft.
The 25-year-old caught two passes for 6 yards before leaving Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons.
Chicago is already without fellow wide receiver Cameron Meredith for the duration of the season due to a knee injury, and a lengthy absence for White would further deplete a barren corps.
