New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski won't play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday night after he was ruled out with a thigh injury.
Gronkowski practiced fully on Monday and Tuesday before participating in a limited fashion Wednesday. He was officially listed as questionable with a thigh injury, which ESPN's Adam Schefter reported was a contusion.
The Patriots star has dealt with injuries throughout the season but had yet to miss a start through four games, making 20 catches for 318 yards and two touchdowns.
New England will also be without running back Rex Burkhead, cornerback Eric Rowe, and defensive lineman Alan Branch.
