Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver John Ross got off to an inauspicious start during Thursday's game against the Houston Texans.
On his first touch of his pro career, Ross fumbled after getting hit by Texans cornerback Kareem Jackson. Jadeveon Clowney scooped the ball in one fell swoop, returning it 49 yards.
Ross was the Bengals' first-round pick, and the organization certainly hopes he'll fare better going forward.
