The move frees up a roster spot for Patrick Chukwurah, who the Seahawks signed to fill some of the pass-rushing void left by Clemons' absence. Rookie Bruce Irvin will start in place of Clemons in Sunday's playoff game against the Falcons, with Chukwurah likely rotating in periodically.
